book is a snoozer. Get it on DVD. (2)

N Postman - Technology is changing us but not necessarily for the better.

Amusing
Ourselves to Death, N Postman - A prophetic book from 1985. Burn the tvs - after the
Cardinals' next season is over though. (9)
The
Overachievers, A Robbins - Intense and scary book that everyone should read. (9)
Robert
E Lee, J Dwyer - My friend wrote this book, and it is extensively
historical.
Postmodernism:
A Beginner's Guide Hart tries to give a primer on pomo. Moderately helpful. (5)

David McCullough - This was a fairly important year in America's history. (7)
The
Powers that Be, D Halberstam - how the media heavy hitters to to their places. Awesome book
of politics, technology and history. (10)
The
World is Flat, T Friedman - A technological determinist, Friedman explains the flatteners
and why they matter (9)
Designed
for Dignity, R Pratt - Pratt lays out Covenant Theology in a way that is easy to
digest and applicable to life. (8)
Crimes
Against Logic, J Whyte - A look at fallacies in public life. He hates Christianity,
that's for sure. (5)
7 or 8 Exodus commentaries. I liked Phillip
Ryken's the best. This

Gone Mild, W Shalit - Shalit looks at what girls are discovering it is not bad to
be good. Important book. (9)

Lady in the Tower, J Plaidy - Anne Boleyn gets Plaidy's attention here, and I can't get
enough. (9)

Enneagram, R Rhor - A strange encounter with personality types. I'm not sure what

F Schriber - A woman has 14 multiple personalties. A crazy book you can't

of Fire, S Pressfield - A look at the battle that inspired the movie 300. (7)

Anonymous MD - Insightful look at how our medical, psych health community
misses the boat on helping people, especially college women. (9)

to Rebellion, J Shaara - Engaging look at the years leading up to the American
